The instrument originally featured a fixed bell but in time somebody cut the bell converted it to a screw bell. This way, the instrument can be packed more compact. Also, there’s a water key fitted to release water quicker.
Valves and slides are all easily moveable and the compression is good.
The instrument has patina and makes a great impression. Sound is very nice and the intonation is very good.
Böhmisches Waldhorn in tiefem Es, hergestellt von Josef Lidl aus Brünn.
Ursprünglich hatte das Instrument einen festen Schallbecher, aber im Laufe der Zeit schnitt jemand den Schallbecher ab und baute ihn in einen Schraubbecher um. Auf diese Weise kann das Instrument kompakter verpackt werden. Außerdem ist eine Wasserklappe eingebaut, um das Wasser schneller abzulassen.
Die Ventile und Züge sind alle leicht beweglich und die Kompression ist gut.
Das Instrument ist patiniert und macht einen guten Eindruck. Der Klang ist sehr schön und die Intonation ist sehr gut.

Oorspronkelijk had het instrument een vaste beker, maar in de loop van de tijd heeft iemand hem omgezet in een afschroefbare beker. Op deze manier kan het instrument compacter worden verpakt. Er is ook een waterklep ingebouwd om het condenswater sneller af te voeren.
De kleppen en schuiven zijn allemaal gemakkelijk te bewegen en de compressie is goed.
Het instrument is gepatineerd en maakt een goede indruk. De klank is erg mooi en de intonatie is erg goed.
